World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community – Beijing Hub

The Global Shapers Community Beijing Hub, initiated by the World Economic Forum, is a network of young leaders committed to driving dialogue, action, and change on local and global challenges.
Yiwen Zhang serves as a Global Shaper and Curator, leading initiatives on gender equality, education equity, and youth empowerment — including the flagship project SheShapes, which connects young women with mentors from academia, consulting, and international organizations.

Yiwen Zhang was interviewed by United Nations News as a youth delegate of the China SDGs Initiative, sharing her experiences in advancing education equality and gender empowerment.
In the interview, she discussed how young changemakers can translate global goals into local actions and highlighted her work through SheShapes Impact and Future Youth to support girls and students from underprivileged backgrounds.
